"Superboy gets back from his trip to the 30th Century, where he was given an honorary Legion Flight Ring for helping the Legion of Super-Heroes rescue Valor. As Superboy approaches the door of the Compound, Knockout comes tearing out and knocks him clear back onto the beach. She seems on top of the world, happy to be brawling with the Kid, and tells him how she'll be staying there. Superboy is thrilled — all the others are not. There is no time to argue, however, as snow begins to fall."
