"Two-Face took the Skinner twins hostages and had the situation under his control. Batman tried to speak his way out but when Lockhart decided to attack him with the knive-thrower's help a lion appeared out of nowhere to attack Lockhart. Batman tackled down the lion and everyone left the place. Batman was about to fight the lion when a clown appeared from out of the darkness and calmed the animal. The clown then told Batman how Lockhart did killed his uncle to get the circus for himself. That was the reason why Two-Face tracked him."
